This movie pays no homage to the setting or character development of previous settings, everything is very clear and simple. The comedy was worse; While I loved the humor of the first two movies, the third one made me laugh, but that didn't happen. I hope the directors realize that the success of the first two films was the depth of the story and character development, and that is lost in this film. Yes, it's a children's movie, but so were the movies before it, and they still touched on dark themes and entertained adults; I'm 22 years old now and I never get tired of watching "Kung Fu Panda 2", it makes me laugh, cry and happy just like it did when I was 11.
